A dream come true...

These vinyl scissors are the best tool for cutting vinyl siding. Wish I would've known about these 20 years ago. They fit on my Ridgid impact drill perfectly. Takes 60 seconds to install on drill. Don't understand the negative reviews. At 65 my wrists were really giving me issues while cutting vinyl siding. These go through it like butta. It is especially nice when doing angled cuts over the top lip of the siding. It just flies over it with ease. Every contractor that has seen me using them has said they are going to buy one too. When it is time to clean up and cut up all the pieces for the trash it cuts my time by a third. I will never be without this product ever again. My only regret is I did not know they existed earlier in my life. Would have made it all much easier.

Not Sheared Yet

Ordered this product based upon the description. Product delivered, unboxed, and installed on one of my drills. So I just wanted to test drive item, and the design appears to allow flexibility to install on most average drill configurations. I bought this power shear to use when installing artificial grass. So while I haven't put this item to the true test, all indications look positive ... this is the reason the the 3 star rating at this time. I will update post use, after using for the aforementioned product installation. Note: A bonus here is you can change the blade assembly out very easily, and clearance adjustments post blade change out are easy/straight-forward (and cost effective).

Works well

We use these for cutting the vinyl skirting that trims out the bottom of a manufactured home. The brand we use is designed to withstand the impact from a line trimmer so it's a little thicker and tougher to cut than vinyl siding. It is very difficult to cut by hand. These shears work well and have held up well. I recommend.

Mehhh.

This might work well for standard vinyl siding. We had cedar shake style siding and these were pretty worthless. The blades could be closer together. I'll keep it as it is an unusual tool. Might come in handy later.

Straight cuts in vinyl it is not bad..

Straight cuts in vinyl it is not bad... Struggles on the vinyl connection locks and will not cut the foam backed siding at all

Not at all able to do the job. it can cut length wise ok but forget about using it for cutting through ANY of the nail flange or the bottom of the siding. In addition the blades self destruct
