Easy To Install. Very Bright

My standard-bulb trailer lights from one of the big home stores have always been iffy. They'd work for months and then one would stop working, requiring much fiddling around to get them both to work again. So I decided to try these LED waterproof lights instead. They were easy to install, though I would of preferred to have the bolts mounted through the housing but I understand they did not do that so they'd be more watertight. Initially one did not turn on. They need good ground and my trailer is heavily painted. After using a drill to sand down to the bare metal all was well. Lights are amazingly bright compared to the old bulb ones. The listing for these is more confusing than the actual install. The wires are color coded to standard trailer wiring and you just hook up the four wires to the proper colors and you'll have running and brake lights. Then each light has a separate ground. Without good ground the light won't work. I'm confident these will work more consistently than my old setup and consider this money well spent.

Most economical LED complete kit

I purchased this for a small occasional use trailer. I didn’t want to spend a bunch of money for something that rarely sees the road. Overall it’s a good value but I wouldn’t recommend it for a trailer that sees regular use. The reason being the bolts that secure the lights to the trailer do not pass thru the light housing. Carriage bolts are used and the lights have a slot on the back that slides over the bolt head. This is a significant weak point if the light gets impacted or if the bolts are over tightened. It will be prone to cracking as the plastic ages & gets brittle. I would use a separate bolt for the ground lug because tightening the mounting bolts tight enough to overcome rust or paint will likely crack the plastic housing. They are slimmer than your typical light and if your trailer has light guards these should hold up well enough. The wiring harness appears to be solid copper. I’ve had the experience of another brand with the deteriorating copper so that’s the first thing I checked for.

Work as advertised and wires come out of the top.

I had purchased different taillights that I returned because the wiring exited from the middle of the back of the lights. When installing it on my jet ski trailer, I saw that the wiring was going to butt up against the trailer's frame, a terrible design and certain to damage the wiring over time. I returned them and purchased these lights. I like the low profile very much and they worked great, no issue. I only used them once so I don't know about watertight or longevity. Led lights for the same price, no-brainer in MHO.

Easy to install bright lights.

Replaced an old set of lights on my boat trailer. Provided hardware mounted to the same holes as the old units and they provided a good light for both running and turn signals. I did this in conjunction with the re wireing of the trailer.

Wires were the right colours, install easy enough and bright. Bonus they don't set off codes :) (incandescent bulbs drew too much) good upgrade

Decent replacement for LED trailer lights

Used this to replace a partially burnt out LED light . This was the best price for LED lights I could find. Comes with mounting hardware (Bolts , washers and Nuts) . Slimmer fit than the light it replaced. So far they are working well.
