So far, so good

Bought this to replace my Millwaukee 0-850 rpm hd drill. The millwaukee's are made in china now and don't last. I burn them up in nothing flat. I am abusing them with large hole saws and such through aluminum, So far the Metabo seems to be a quality unit. I started buying their grinders a couple years ago, after I killed all my millwaukee's, and am very happy with them, so I decided to try the metabo drill as well. It is heavy, powerful, has a nice forward and reverse switch recessed into the side of the drill, so you don't accidentally switch it when you don't want to. I have only used the metabo drill a couple times, but it seems to preform well, has no wobble in the chuck like the millwaukee's, and looks and feels heavy duty enough to last in the abusive environment we encounter on a daily basis. So far this is the best and most expensive drill I have purchases for my business. P.S. The product description says this is a safety vest and some reviews also pertain to a safety vest, but be assured, you are ordering the drill pictured, not a safety vest

I do warmly recommend Metabo tools to anyone

Reliable tool. It has all the torque you need to bore deep holes in medium to large diameter, mostly in wooden materials. It can also get used as an electric powerful screwdriver thanks to its high torque, also on long and large screws. I do warmly recommend Metabo tools to anyone. More expansive on the buying but less expansive on the long run. They're the best.
