Good nails, poor ups shipping

The nails are good quality and the seller shipped exactly what he/she advertised but the shipper beat the box pretty bad. Half of the coils were mashed out of round and not sure if they can be advanced in the gun as they are in the coil one layer up and one down etc so that they will feed without jamming. We'll see. I read other buyers having the same issue with ordering coil nails on here. It's better to buy local but there were none available. Metabo needs to get thier distribution fixed if they want contractors to use thier nails for LP siding.. This size was nowhere to be found local. Ups shipping is the worse for this kind of ship. The product looks like it was mishandled and it took 5 days to get here. That I can handle but not product mishandled. I got a box that was 3 times as many and way heavier and further away 2 weeks ago from another shipper and not a coil was damaged. These tools are precise and the coils are manufactured as so. And they are not cheap. Ok, I'm done complaining, and I just wanted to warn any other contractors to be wary and not surprised. Fing them local if you can. By yhe way, the other nails were 2 1/2" X .113 Metabos were 2 1/2" X .092

Wish my siding nailer was as good as these nails

These nails stay in. No issues with 2" nails. Work well with gun, no jamming. However, Freeman gun is prone to double fire - and pulling out that second nail isn't always easy. Have had to pull off a board after nailing in place - the wood split - the nails stayed in the 2x wood. Which I think is great.
