Very nice but came about broken

It is an amazing gift and toy for your child.The price is amazing for 10 clay boxes. Mine came a bit broken meaning one of the boxes side collapsed but other than that it is a really good product! ????????

Clay not good

The concept on these is great as are the accessories. However, there were lots of issues with the clay. Some kits had super sticky, almost runny clay, others had completely dried up clay and the sushi kit had two packets of orange and no black packet. Not one kit was as it should have been. We still had fun with them but be warned.

Fun kits

My daughter loves the idea behind these kits, however, the "clay" is difficult to work with. Love that its air dry and comes with all the little pieces, just be prepared to work the clay for a hot minute before you can sculpt with it... And then move quickly to finish!

SUPER STICKY CLAY!!!!!

The clay we received was INSANELY STICKY -- it was not typical air dry clay. That could have been a good thing as most air dry clay kits arrive with half the packets dried solid. This was the other extreme -- the clay was sooo gooey, almost liquidy to the touch that it was super frustrating. I thought it was too warm, so we tried freezing it for 30 minutes. Then I thought the heat from our hands was causing issues so we tried to touch it as little as possible. Yeah, wtf, it's clay! The other thing, is that in the two kits we did on Christmas, most of the clays were of this creamy consistency, but 1-2 were normal. Not sure if this is just a cheap brand or a knock off of what we were supposed to get. All this said, if you get such a batch, you're gonna have to divert from the original plan a bit to make anything. My daughter and I did our best and they turned out ok. We actually had more fun with the challenge of getting the clay into some sort of workable representation of the foods. Chili lime taco shells anyone? And our donuts are more pastries -- but that honestly was part of the fun. We ended up rolling the sticky clay off our hands to create the veggie condiments for the tacos and it looked pretty cool. (our attempt to mix black and green for the avocado skin ended up in the sink, on our dog, and the sofa --- fun!) Some people have said you need to work the clay a bit to get it into usable shape -- but ours was extremely sticky ... like fudge. There was no way to even handle it. Perhaps you have to, instead of freezing it, try to squeeze it out of the bags, then let it sit for a couple hours to pre-air dry???? anyways, if youre thinking of buying this kit, I'd say DONT. If you've purchased already, I'd not waste time returning it and just kinda do your best / and perhaps try to the poke a tiny hole in bags, squeeze out like toothpaste, let sit for an hour, then have at it.

These. Are. Awesome.

I got these for my clay loving kid and I’m kicking myself for not taking a pic. I’m kicking myself for not taking a picture of them, but they were so adorable and after she put them together, they were absolutely impressive. I will buy more of these. GREAT value!

Fun activity

Nine year old loves making the mini food items. The accessories that come with it make the presentation very cute. The problem has been that in each box, at least on packet of clay was too hard/solid to model with. We are planning to pick up some play-doh to use with it to make it easier.

Cute Idea, but....

I bought this kit for my 10 year old, because we've used air dry clay kits before. She loves the kit and would've really liked to enjoy it. However, some of the clays were already dry and others were too sticky to work with (compared to other brands we've used), so there were a lot of projects she couldn't do. I'd suggest already having some air dry clay for colors that are dried already and some baking soda for those that are extremely sticky.

Cute

This kit is super cute. There is plenty of clay for each project -there will be a lot left over. So far, I've done the burger and the pancakes. I found this very therapeutic and easy. It was tinier than I expected and therefore I feel a bit expensive for what it is but I like it. The clay is a somewhat wet, airy, sticky consistency that you'll have to manipulate a bit before forming the foods. Overall, nice buy and fun project to do while quarantining.

Not Happy

Some clay was dried out, some was super mushy. For the amount I paid I am not impressed. I will be returning it for a refund.
