These are for .22LR, not .22 airgun bore

These are listed as being for .22's. I wouldn't have bought these if I knew they were for .22-.223 as airgun bores are way different in size, softer steel used for barrels They're a decent quality item when used with a good one piece CF rod that runs on dual ball bearings and a guide/crown saver. Just be aware if you're as careful with barrels as you should be.

Work well, but a shorter version is needed.

Seem to be assembled well and do a fine job. Wish there were shorter versions available since using one to clean a semi-automatic pistol without removing the bolt is almost impossible due to the length of the mop itself.
