Great quality and very good design!

I like these baking madeleines molds particularly because they have area of about 1 inch to grab them, and this makes a lot easier to handle them when baking! This is convenient and important for not to burn oneself or not messed up the madeleine with the gloves when handling.

Great nonstick pan

I'd originally wanted a non-coated pan for my madeleines as I don't like non-stick coatings. Unfortunately I didn't find any suitable ones, so I had to opt for nonstick. The pan is actually the colour as shown in the photo, I thought that it only looked grey because of the lighting, and that the pan itself would be black. This is a good thing, because it means the pan doesn't brown the bottoms of the madeleines as much as if it were black. I made my first batch of trial madeleines within two hours of opening the package, and in the rush, I forgot to oil the first two cups. Turns out I had nothing to worry about; the madeleines slid right out without even waiting for them to cool. Next time I'll be able to skip the oiling step which is great (although I wouldn't mind doing it on an uncoated pan). The bottoms were nicely browned, the centres were cooked well, and the tops were nice and golden. Very nice and crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. One slight issue I have and which I have not knocked any stars off for (because it is likely down to my lack of experience, not the pan's fault), is that the edge of the madeleine browns far too quickly compared to the rest of the madeleine, so it almost looks burnt whilst the rest of the cake is perfect. I'd be interested to know if this is actually due to the pan, and will do some more testing.

Worth the money

The media could not be loaded. I really recommend this product, non stick even without butter, easy to remove from pan and the size wise bigger than the usual size.

Well made madeleine pan

Light weight pan. I bought 2 pans because most recipes make 24 madeleines. The size of the madeleines are decent size, perfect for dunking into tea. I buttered the pan with melted butter and the madeleines came out very nicely, I didn't have to struggle taking them out. Easy clean up as well. My only concern is sliding the pans in the oven can be difficult, there is no easy handle to hold the pan. However there is a hole to allow hanging of the pans on the wall.

Amazing Madeleine Mold

My long search for the perfect madeleine mold is finally over. The results are impressive. Great value for the price!
