Could be Sturdier

I purchased this small rectangular tray to use under 5 small plant pots to catch any water that overflowed. It looks nice, it does the job I intended it for. It does twist when I pick up the tray with the weight of the pots, so if I have to pick it up to move it, I put a cutting board underneath to stabilize it.

Simple Solution

The tray fit perfectly atop my bookcase where I have a collection of plants. Wanted something to put under all instead of using multiple trays and this fit 4 plants, each in 4-5” pots, plus a starter in a small jar.

Good in a fridge

So I bought the trays to corral sodas in our garage fridge. It works perfectly. The soda cases were always ripped strangely and sodas would fall out. These trays occupy almost the exact footprint as a soda case and allow me to stack the cans horizontally so they’re easy to grab.

Exactly what I was looking for

I have a rectangular ceramic planter that is great for keeping my spider plant moist between waterings. However, it has always been difficult to water the plant without watering too much and having it leak out the bottom and down the wall below the window sill it sits on. This tray is precisely the right size to sit under it, seems to be made of an impressively sturdy white plastic, and does what I was hoping for: catches the excess water so it can be gradually reabsorbed by the plant. I am sure there are many other uses for this tray, because it should be noted that the size dimensions are exactly as described. For my needs it is perfect.

Great for humidity trays

These look great with my terracotta pots and the rock I ordered from Amazon. I ordered 3 trays and they all arrived slightly warped. This is not a problem for me be because even without the rock in them, the pots weigh them down. But depending on what you want to use them for, the warping could be a problem for some. I would describe them as medium to medium heavy weight. They are too weak to pick up with the pots on them, even without the rock. But they are much heavier than a 10/20 garden tray. I expect they will last for several years. I do wish they were a little heavier, though.

Made a great project component!

I needed a waterproof tray for my CPAP machine, for use in our travel trailer where things shift around on the road. This tray was the perfect dimensions for the job, including the "tongue" I needed to slide the water compartment out each night to refill. When I discovered how the CPAP's low power connector interfered with the tray's edge, I added an inexpensive piece of aquarium grid I found elsewhere on Amazon, which made a great standoff to keep the equipment out of any possible puddle. I was so happy with the results that I bought another set of each to make a tray for my home bedtable!

Disappointing

I agree with the other reviewer.. the dimensions advertised aren't accurate and it is smaller, however I could've lived with it because I wanted a plastic tray, not a bottom for a specific planter.. BUT it's flimsy and has too much give in it, and has sloped, very low side edges.. which make it an over-priced piece of useless plastic to me. With such low side edges I don't know how it could be a good planter tray either for that matter. It also has an odd texture.. bumpy.. which makes it hard to clean unless I use an old toothbrush or nail brush.. and this texture attracts dust and dirt so it looks dirty very quickly (the one I got is white). Over all, I'm disappointed with this product.

Good but arrived warped - no return allowed.

Positive: Good quality plastic product for its intended use as a plater saucer. Size is as advertised. Negative: Arrived warped and it wobbles underneath the planter making it unstable/useless. Amazon does not allow for return or refund of the product.

Stated Dimensions are Inaccurate!

The stated dimensions are not even close. The specs here on amazon.ca say it's 24 inches by 7 inches, and the item even has a label on it saying it's 24 inches. But the actual measurements, to the outside of lip (so not even all this space is "usable"), are about 22-5/16 by 6-10/16. It doesn't seem like a bad product, and rectangular box trays are hard to find, but this one is totally useless to me. I will be returning it for sure, as "not as advertised."

Fits our needs perfect

Perfect size for our windowsill. I cut a slight slot for the window crank and put some river rocks under our pots. It's wonderful and protects our sill nicely while also catching moisture in the rocks.
