Great Product.
The media could not be loaded. This kit is actually better than I expected, I paid $159, but the price seems to fluctuate on here. Construction was solid and well built. The 30"x10" kit came with the H-Burner and tray. The tray had spacers welded to the bottom for the burner and that is my only complaint that the burner and spacers were out of alignment by about 1/2". I didn't want to damage the burner by bending it to fit the spacers and I was not going to modify the pan so I split the difference on each side and used the glass beads to hold it in place nicely. It had a removable plate, and a replacement that was pre-drilled for an electric igniter. I didn't install one but you can without modification to the tray. I purchased the propane installation kit as well, that came with the mixing valve and was very easy to install. The interior of the pan is 30x10, it took me a while to find this information so I wanted to give the next guy a head start. The product is awesome and I will be purchasing several more of these in the future for friends and family, as well as a more portable unit for taking camping. With no sparks it is awesome and you can shut it off instantly so even when there is a burn ban you will likely be able to use this. The box I built for it is a simple 2x4 design, and I built it to hold a 30lb propane tank hidden underneath so I won't have to have hoses or piping visible but still be able to move it on and off the deck as weather dictates.

Great for your diy firepit.
Pretty happy with this. After reading some other reviews and seeing the pictures of their finished firepit, thought I'd take the plunge and try to build one as well. Concept seemed pretty straight forward: this kit + fireglass + propane hose kit + electric igniter + some wood and concrete to build the base. Only had 2 minor gripes about this 1) the burner isn't really bolted down in any way except where the gas hose attaches and 2) no predrilled hose for their brand of electric igniter - but these are very minor and only really noticeable during installation since once the Fireglass goes in, doesn't really matter any more. As one of the previous reviewers mentioned, getting a high pressure adjustable regulator makes a huge difference. I opted to build something that could fit a standard 20lb propane tank. Used some pressure treated 4x4 to frame and screwed on backer board for the base. I then built a form using 3/4 inch melamine board from HD and mixed Cement All rapidset with their flow control (to make it pourable) and set control (to give myself more time to work with it since without it, sets very fast ~15 minutes) and some quickcrete coloring. Mixed and poured a total of 3 55lb bags in the form that gave me ~1 inch thick concrete all around the 4 sides and 1 1/2 inch on top. The melamine boards give the sides a slick polished finish without having to polish. I used a wet grinder (previously purchased from Amazon for another project) to polish the top. There are casters that allow me to move it around. I used some left over ipe decking material to make the lid where the propane tank sits.

A cool project for handy people
A buddy and I spent a few days building a fire table using the 30" version of this fire pit pan. We're pleased with the results! The pan itself is very simple - a fairly heavy stainless steel pan, 30" by 10" with a 1.5" lip around the top. The pan includes three small drain holes in each corner. The corners are finished nicely. The burner is also stainless steel, welded in an H pattern. This manufacturer has the gas feed from the center of the H. The Burner sits above the pan via little flat stainless legs. There is no attachment device from the burner to the pan - the weight of the fireglass holds the burner in place. I called the manufacturer for a technical question and received a response very quickly. In use, the pan/burner work really well with a standard 20lb propane tank and 0.5psi regulator. We get good flames and heat. Some recommend an air mixer to clean up the propane. Others prefer no mixer for safety purposes and also to keep the flame a more visible yellow color. Some also recommend no-whistle supply lines - thus far, noise has not been an issue for me. I chose the 30" model simply as an appropriate scale to go with a long patio couch & chair set. Other sizes are available. In short, I'm very happy with the choice of this firepan!

Neighbor saw the flames, three doors down the street
The media could not be loaded. Am building a coffee table fit pit, will be the centerpiece of an outdoor kitchen. Connected a propane bottle today to see how much flame and heat it puts out. On low (barely lit), it puts out a nice even flame and some noticeable heat if you're standing close by. On high, I suspect you can see the flames from the space station. Might spread more evenly when we add the fire glass but it's plenty warm. I agree with some of the other reviewers that I'll need to secure the H-burner to the pan somehow because it's just resting loosely on the supports. All things considered, it seems like good quality and value.

Quality firepit
The fire pit was well made and works great would have given it a 5 but because the length has a slight bow very little but it rocked in my granite top. Just shimmed one corner 1/8 inch
