This is a really nice timepiece, slightly heavy and very solid. The pictures online make the watch band appear to be two different colors but it's just one. It's a very dark gun metal grey that looks more black than grey. The adjustable counter clockwise moving ring on the face has large, extremely white numbers that jump out at you when you open the box. They look a little more subtle in the pictures. The large second hand is used for timing / stop watch activities while the small upper right dial is the sweep second hand. Date and day adjustments are nice and easy to adjust out of the box. The watch band is typically large but the links are removed fairly easy at home with some basic tools. If you need to take out just one or two links, start on the strap that attaches to the top of the watch at noon. Lay the watch on a small wood block with the adjustment dials facing up. Next look for the tiny holes in the links close to the closer. With a push pin or tiny drill bit, tap the bit with a small hammer and the watch pin will pop out on the other side. Pull it and repeat for another link. Reinstall the pin from the bottom and tap with a small hammer and that's it!

My favorite watch as of yet

So far it has been 3 months since I first purchased this watch and I figured it has been long enough to post my review on it. Every time I plan to buy something that I expect to use on a daily basis, I spend a lot of time researching on possible watches and reading the reviews on whether or not I would like it. I wanted a watch that wasn't too "dressy" but sleek enough that I can also wear on formal occasions. After all of my research I opted for this and I have not regretted it yet. The watch is slightly darker than what it looks like on the pictures but I think the darker shade makes it look nicer. I always take this watch with me wherever I go but I usually take it off when working because I personally just find it more comfortable working without a watch on. From the 3 months that I've had it, it has kept time fairly well and I've only had to reset the time once. I would say the only thing that I find that is sort of a con (for me that is) is the location of the 'seconds' hand. I am used to the 'seconds' hand being the arrow that circles the entire watch but for this watch it is the stopwatch. The 'seconds' area is the smaller circle on the right hand side. I'd prefer it the other way around but it is not a big deal and would not have stopped me from purchasing this watch.

Nice Watch

I like the watch. I like the color. I wish the band flaired out more as it got closer to the watch. There is about an eigth of an inch gap on both sides of the band where it attaches to the watch. On other watches I have seen, the band widens to the width if the watch at that point. Also, the white numbers on the bezel are pretty bright. I am not completely sold on that. I think they would look better and more subtle in grey or silver. They are very pronounced and kind of direct your eye away from the detail of the watchface. Others have commented on the fact that the main second hand is part of a timer and does not move all the time. Again, I'm on the fence on that one. It's cool when it moves and you can just start it and let if go if you like. I have done that on several occassions when I have worn it to an event. When i took it off for the night, I stopped the timer and parked it at 12 o'clock. Overall, a nice wide watch with good weight and good value.

If you are in the market for awatch in this price range

If you are in the market for a watch in this price range...look no further. . I was in the market for an affordable watch I can wear to work. This watch has the good looks but is not overly flashy. It's pretty heavy watch for my taste but after wearing it for a week, it doesn't even feel like its heavy at all, hardly felt I was wearing it. Very good watch, good build for the price, looks and feels like a high end watch. I went to Costco (yes they do carry Invicta brand watches) and they were priced around 150 and above so you're already saving by buying from amazon. The watches IMO at Costco don't even compare looks-wise. In short, excellent watch for the price and very masculine. Just one thing though, the second hand stops moving once the 30 min mini-dial reaches the 30th mark but can be turned on again by pressing the upper right button. Although the "seconds" dial keeps going. The crown actually rotates counterclockwise contrary to what was said before me. Recommend buy.

Watch looks good

Adjustment screw has tendency to pull out on own stopping watch. Hour hands can be a little hard to read as they blend with face.

My everyday watch

This is my go to watch for my normal day use. I wanted a watch that was both fashionable but at the same time very durable. I'm a bit clumsy so I'm always bumping my hand into stuff. Since buying this watch I've accidentally bumped into things quite a few times without getting any scratches. The instruction manual is also very easy to use. Just look for the section related to your particular watch and from there just follow the step by step instructions. The only con I would say is that it's a bit on the heavy side. You get use to it but still take note. Also the second hand(which functions as the stop watch) is a bit hard to follow with all the other small dials and lines on the inside but again it just takes some getting use to. Overall a very good looking durable watch. Definitely recommended.

A must have

This watch is great. I bought it as a gift for my boyfriend who is a watch enthusiast. Although he owns an invicta venom which goes for more than 3 times the price, this watch still looks classier and more sophisticated. He absolutely loves it. It is not as large as the venom so a medium to small wrist can pull it off, however it is really made for a larger wrist. The only thing I can say about it is it is perhaps 2mm smaller than in the description as I measured it against my own pro diver watch which was listed as 48mm and it was the same size, even tho I expected it to be larger. It is great looking and easy to use right out of the box and virtually scratch resistant.

Good Looker, Good Value.

I bought this watch for a gift and when it arrived in the post I wanted one for myself!, it really is a most impressive watch, The black dial and gun metal grey case and bracelet really look good and the watch has a nice expensive feel to it. The watch case has a diameter of 45mm which is large but not excessive by todays standards but would more likely suit a medium or large sized wrist. The watch is rated as 100 metre water resist but as is does not have a screw down crown I would not like to try it out at any more than swimming depth, the bezel moves in one direction with a nice positive action and the buttons operating the chronograph (stopwatch) have a nice soft touch when depressed. The only gripe I have with the watch is that the chronograph's main second hand is not aligned exactly on the markers (poor quality control on the part of Invicta) this would personally annoy me as I own several Festina Chronograph watches and have never encountered this problem, so for this reason alone I deduct one star from the rating. Overall though I would Highly recommend this watch, especially if you can buy it at a good discount on Amazon.

do not buy this from amazon !

within three months one of the small metal wheels on the face has come off....bearing in mind it wasn't put any sort of pressure. This has now caused the watch to stop working....amazon has only a 30 day return....sending it back to the manufacturer is a logistical and expensive nightmare....thanks amazon and thanks invicta.....won't buy from either of you again !!! if you are looking at this watch....sorry but look elsewhere

Looks expensive, feels expensive, great looking watch. Not sure worth the advertised original £325 but at under £70 Fantastic. If i would have spent £150 i would not have been disappointed.
