I try not to write bad reviews, so I won't. But I wasn't thrilled with the product. A little too unnecessary for the price. Only "fits" the pelican case because it is smaller than the case. So, with that logic, anything not the same dimension would "fit" in the lid of the case. At least 1-2 inches of space all around the edge of the lid organizer and the edges of the lid. Also, have to remove foam to mount. Included screws, but didn't use because they looked longer than the lid was thick (in other words, I felt like the screws would come out the other end). So, to use the included adhesive pads, have to remove the foam. Ended up just laying the lid organizer on top of my gear. Kinda works, but I would save $20+ and buy something from a big box store that doesn't really 'fit' either.

Photographer's lid organizer to fit 1520 pelican case

This is one time i should have sided with the "negative" reviewers and skipped the purchase. Excellent idea! Poorly executed. Minimal quality in materials and construction. Attachment not thought thru properly. All of their cases should be made to accept all of their accessories. The cases i have do not have the "required" attachment enhancement points making the supplied hardware useless. Sadly, this purchase has brought PELICAN down a notch in my estimations. And that hurts due to their premium pricing of otherwise outstanding products. I can not, and will not recommend this lid organizer to anyone ever.

Extends Functionality of Pelican Case

Easy to install, and adds valuable extra storage space to Pelican case. You do have to remove the piece of foam in the lid in order to use this organizer, but since I'm not dropping my case out of an airplane, or letting a gorilla play with it, it's not an issue for me. Storing small items in this organizer frees up valuable space in the case for larger equipment. Highly recommended!
