Same socket as the LED version.

I couldn't find the LED version of this light for a same-for-same replacement (maybe discontinued). At least the base socket is the same.

Attractive light with simple installation

This light was purchased to replace a missing all-around anchor light on my Hatteras MY. It was an easy installation with simple wiring connections and once the base was mounted and secure, the staff was easy to line up. The light is nice and bright-it's not LED from the factory but it's not listed as such. Because of the removable light staff, it should be easy to replace bulbs. Only issue I ran into was light staff has an odd twist along with designed angle but that actually worked with mounting location. Overall a nice light and a good price. Plus it looks pretty close to original light, so it is as.close as I could get to classic Hatteras appearance without shelling out a LOT more money.

Not L.E.D light

This is not led!!!! Searched amazon for led masthead light and this was what was closest to what i wanted so i ordered thinking it had led bulbs in it.

What I needed

It was exactly what I neede to replace the one I had before.

Poor design, No customer service. None, zero, zilch ...

Useless, as the mast doesn't fit into the socket. At the base of the mast there's a moulded plastic 3-way socket that mates with a 3 way plug that sits in the base of the socket. The socket is retained in the mast by a flat headed self tapping screw that stands proud of the mast tube by 1mm, enough to prevent to tube fitting into the socket. 3 emails from me and 2 emails from seller to Perko Inc have not received any response.
