Well made durable chairs

We like our new coleman camping chairs they are well made and comfortable. We bought both the sling and bucket chairs, my wife likes the bucket chair and I like the sling chair we also bought the foot rest. Would recommend though I think they are a little high price but they are made well and should last a long time if well cared for.

Comfy chairs

Purchased as Xmas gift for granddaughters 9 & 11. They loved them and will use around their campfires at home. Very nice looking chair and seems to be sturdy and well made. Chairs were a hit. Wish they came in colors

Sturdy and comfortable

The last camping chair I got was a Klymit that folded down into an itty bitty size that was awesome for travel. Due it its diminutive size, however, it wasn't as comfortable to sit in for longer periods of time and unfortunately, wasn't very durable. After a handful of uses, one of folding sections of the frame broke. It's still usable, but not as stable as it was when new. The Coleman Forester bucket chair, on the other hand, is much larger, more comfortable, and feels very durable. Since the frame and seating area is already attached, you simply unfold the entire chair and you're done. No need to unfold the frame, then thread the fabric through the poles. The only downside to the chair is that even when folded, it is rather large. It'll fit in any trunk or back seat, so that's not an issue, but if you want hyper portability, this isn't the chair for you. Due to my poor experience with a tiny folding camping chair, I'm of the opinion that the larger, sturdy chairs like the Coleman is the way to go.

Comfortable and Sturdy

We have a lot of bonfire and cookout type gatherings at our place so I have a ton of camp chairs because they are easy to store and quick to set up. We have 5 Coleman camp chairs that we've had for at least 10 years and they have been through hundreds of uses and still work great today but personally I'm not a fan of the low slung seating of the bucket type chairs. My favorite portable chair has always been one of my Lewis and Clark Adventures fold and go directors chairs with a more upright seating position. Then I got this Coleman Forester Collection Sling Chair and I love it. Folded up it's long, about 46inches, so not a chair to pack in and out for hiking, but perfect to have in the garage or RV, or to tote to the neighbors on the golf cart. When it's set up the seat bottom is firm but comfortable and the back is at a great angle for relaxing in front of a fire. It has a side pocket that will hold a drink of choice, including bottles, cans, or a 30oz Yeti style tumbler. This is a very comfortable chair, and I am 6'2" 270lbs and it feels really sturdy under me. My wife has one complaint, she likes the Coleman camp chairs with the wide cloth arm rests and this sling chair has thinner padded bar arm rests. I don't mind them at all and love the more upright seating position of this chair. As with all the Coleman chairs we have, I expect this chair will stand the test of time, and I definitely recommend this chair.

Comfortable and well made

The larger Sling chair, while bulkier to carry, is so much more worth it. It both packs and opens easily and is a comfort to sit in for long periods of time. The cup holder leans against the side of the chair though sometimes pulling out a drink can get frustrating because it gets stuck to the inside. My only slight gripe is that there was a bit more padding on the armrests. Others at slightly cheaper prices offer armrests with more cushion which is a missed opportunity.

Very sturdy!

This is really nicely designed - it is very sturdy. The mechanism for opening the legs just glides, such that a finger pinch is unlikely. The cloth is very durable and all stitching tight. Although it’s labeled a foot stool, I use it as a seat. It’s very small so perfect to take places when there’s not a lot of room for a bigger folding chair, like tailgates, beach, camping, etc. I am a petite person - a large person may not be comfortable sitting on it.

Great chair

I originally thought the price seemed a little steep, but then this arrived and I could see why it's so pricy - this is very nice! I've owned many foldable chairs over the years, and this is the nicest one. Not only is it from a brand that I know and trust, but it's also taller and wider than many others I've owned. My 6ft, 250 lb husband has no trouble sitting in this, and he finds it very cozy. There are no arms, which may be a bonus for you if you're looking for something more spacious, or a negative if you want a spot to put your arms. There is a (lame) cupholder on the side, which would hold a water bottle or something else with a lid on the to. And the whole thing folds down with ease, so it's simple to store away. I'm very happy with the quality so far, and this looks like it will hold up well in the long run.

Super sharp design and premium construction.

Wow, this is one super nice chair and is premium in every way! The gray looks so booshie at our campsite and ordered a second for a matched pair. Honestly, Coleman has been with me since my early twenties and all my camping and scuba diving trips in my metal ice chest. The brand always excites me because it represents those awesome times in our lives and I am so proud this company still produces premium quality items and hasn't sold out to cheap garbage-made camp gear. I love the almost black pipe look to the arms and you can feel this chair support your lower back, it comes up to meet you it's not a hollowed-out sling feeling. Very nice!
