Kept Breastmilk frozen for 36 hours

Highly recommend purchasing if traveling long distance with breastmilk. To keep milk frozen solid the combo: dry ice, newspaper, frozen breastmilk, newspaper, dry ice. The combination plus the container kept milk frozen for 36 hours.

Great for transporting frozen breastmilk

I recently traveled from Detroit to LA and needed to transport enough frozen breast milk (enough for 10 days) for my 18 month old. I was able to tightly fit about 305 oz of breastmilk in this cooler along with maybe 2-3 freezer ice/gel packs. I took this box with me and checked it in for my flight on Delta and had it come along as a "check in bag" to LA, as this option was MUCH cheaper than FedEx shipping. I was nervous about the long travel day as I did not want the milk to begin to thaw out. In total our travel time from our home to our final destination was around 16 or 17hours. We had the box in our rental car on a 70 degree day for about 6 hours of that total 16 hours. When we arrived to our destination the milk was completely frozen. It did not thaw out one bit!! One thing I would like to note is that the only down side is that this box does not have handles so it was rough to hold it and walk around the airport along with our several bags, car seat, stroller and other baby supplies. If the outer box had handles I'd say it's a perfect product! I assume there are no handles on the box due to temperature regulation of the cooler? Otherwise this was a great product and did the job for me!

Exactly what we needed and a great product

This product as described and worked great. We had it shipped to Hawaii so we could bring 2 frozen cakes from a favorite wedding cake bakery back with us. The 6 inch cakes, 9 inches tall, on 8" round cake boards fit size by side perfectly in this cooler. We had referenced both the inside and outside measurements to ensure the cakes would fit and that the cooler would fit in the overhead. Although I should have had about 4 inches to spare to fit in American Airlines 752-Boeing 757 overhead compartment, because of the shape of the compartment it was a good thing I went on the conservative side. Not the fault of the seller--their description is spot on. I got lucky. It worked PERFECTLY. Cakes were still somewhat frozen after 9 hours in a car, airport, and the airplane and with NO cooler icepacks of any kind (because of airport security). I would highly recommend this cooler!

I purchased the Thermo Chill Insulated Carton with Foam Shipper and I was very please with the performance. I lined the bottom and sides of the foam shipper with ice packs before putting in the frozen food. Additional ice packs were placed on top. This added an addition layer of insulation. I was very please with the outcome. Love that the carton has "Perishable" and arrow pointing upward to avoid any confusion. Great product and I would recommend it.
