Not returnable!

I have no problem with the product nor price. That was reasonable, however when I received itSunday I saw that it would not work for the chair I bought it for. I boxed it back up (unused) within minutes and planned to return it. When I tried, it said this was not returnable. I went back and looked all over the site and did not see anything that would let me know that this was the case. I would never have ordered this had I known. Beware. Unless you know this is exactly what you want, don’t order it. Amazon has made it so hard to contact a person to talk with about this so I may be stuck. Not happy about that. If something changes, I will update Update. Finally was able to reach customer service that was helpful in fixing the problem but take note that this is generally not returnable. 5 stars for Amazon customer service.

Soft :)

It is an awesomely soft outfit. For me it squeezed my hips. (I had a small wheelchair at the time) I cut the arm wings out and it was perfect. Then I used what I cut off for various small pillows needed here and there. I find it definitely worth the buy myself.

Cheaply made

Great idea but fabric is super thin. Does not wipe clean. Will need to be washed but not sure if it will come out in good enough shape to use it again. One of the ties broke the first day.

Good product, but...

I bought this for my mother. It's very comfortable, but unfortunately, it caused her to slide forward out of her chair. My mother is not extremely frail, but she did recently break her hip and is pretty much confined to her wheelchair or bed.

Comfy after adjustments

This cushion is one-size-fits-all, but it is patterned for a wheelchair with a tall back and relatively high arm rests. It didn't fit my mom's chair as well as I had hoped, but she says it is very comfortable. She likes it, so we're keeping it. She has painful osteoporosis in her spine, and this cushion seems to help a lot. For that, it's well worth the price. However, here were the issues I noticed when fitting the cushion into her chair: 1. The padding/stuffing in the part of the cushion that covers the back of her wheelchair was a little thinner than I expected. Since it is considerably taller than the back of her wheelchair, however, the very top section slumped down and created an extra layer of padding. (The cushion might not be too high for chairs with taller backs, but in that case it might also provide less padding.) 2. The padding/stuffing in the part that covers the seat was a little lumpy, but it seemed to even out somewhat after she sat on it. 3. After I tied the arm flaps over the the arms of the chair, which was the last step in "installing" it, I sat in the chair to test it. I grasped the arm rests to stand up and the cushion was slippery, sliding around the arm bar beneath. That seems like a safety hazard. I remedied the situation by undoing the ties on the arm flaps, pulling the flaps directly under the arm bars rather than over them, and re-tying the ties. The side of the chair is still cushioned, but the arm bar itself is not covered. That allows my mom to grasp the arms bars to help her stand -- with the brakes on and a caregiver by her side, of course. (This arm-flap adjustment might not be necessary for chairs with higher-set arm rests.) Other than the awkward initital fit, we like the cushion. I would recommend it to those who want a one-cushion solution and are willing to make some slight adjustments for individual wheelchairs.

Cushion is pretty good, but can't really be an all-rounder

This cushion is a decent enough thing. Although I ordered plaid, I received this in navy and - at the time of writing- the plaid has no concrete date at which it is expected back in stock. The cushion nicely lines the user-contact areas around the seat, back and sides of a wheelchair seat, back and arm area. The cover material is neither waterproof nor wipeable, and in some respects the absence of these features causes problems: if dampened/dirtied it will take some time to clean +/or dry. However, a full wrap-around cushion made from a non-breathable waterproof/wipeable material is likely to prove horrendously hot and sweaty on warmer days. Considering that this is a cloth-covered cushion, at the RRP it's quite expensive, but I've not really found anything comparable.

Not quite what I was expecting

Apart from the fact that this took a long time to arrive, I received a plain blue one, not the tartan one as shown and ordered. I am keeping it though as I need it in my wheelchair, and I can't find anything like it here in Cyprus.
