Fantastic picture frame clamp

I purchased a Powertec mount clamp several years ago when I started building frames for my wife’s artwork, I needed to buy a couple more band clamps so I could glue-up runs of frames for her. The Powertec has worked okay but it’s somewhat finicky and time consuming do use, so ydecided to go with the Pony clamps and was amazed at how much easier they are to work with. First off, the pony clamp strap locks are spring loaded (the Powertec ones aren’t’) and that make tensioning the clamp straps much quicker to tighten. The clamp handle turns more freely too. The net result is a faster & tighter set-up. All in all, I couldn’t be happier with the Pony strap clamp. I’ll probably buy a couple more, & I recommend it heartily.

Worked Great for My Needs!!

I was told to buy a "Strap Clamp" to help me build an RC boat from a wood kit that I had. I had never heard of one, so I hit Amazon to find one. I found this one which seemed to fit the bill for what I needed. Shipping was fast, and the product seemed pretty nicely made. It was easy to use and had plenty of length on the band for it to work for what I would think are a ton of projects. I used it to hold the main hull together on the RC boat that I was building right away. Wow. What a difference this product made on the build!! This was the second kit I had built, and the first time I had to keep measuring for square with a triangle, and hope that every other part was actually square. With the strap clamp, I just put it together with some 30 minute epoxy on the ends, adjusted the clamp to hold things the way that they were supposed to, tightened it up so it was snug (but not really tight) and let the hull sit. It came out with PERFECT 90 degree square angles. I'm really glad I got this. It made the project much easier while also making it come out nicer. Highly recommended!!

Excellent for large segmented rings.

Exactly what I needed for my woodturning projects. Easy to adjust, easy to apply clamping pressure with the screw handle. Plan on adding several more.

Works well for framing

I found it quite useful for easy gluing and holding together four corners tight to make a frame (2 x 4 feet). Better than using four 90 Degree Corner Clamps. Worked well for my type of project. Happy with the results.

Great tool for clamping large square items

Bought for clamping a 3ft square frame. Worked perfectly. Only slight gotcha is the silver clamps can slip if you're not careful.

Very Best Band Clamp

I’ve used a number of various types of these clamps, and have to say the Pony is the very best this far. I use them for drawer assembly and like the simplicity and sped at which I can install these clamps, there’s no time to waste when gluing projects. The shape of the plastic corners are fixed at 90deg unlike other brands which are often two piece to allow for variable angles. The plastic corners are also much larger and easier to work with than other brands. Definitely recommend for any 90deg band clamping requirements
