This might be a mistake but

It might be a mistake but the ESC has absolutely no power going forward and it has no drag break and it has a lot of power going backwards but when it goes forward let’s say up a slight hill it gives up I bought a program card to try to program it but it is not programmable so don’t know what to do about it?
