Large are still 12oz

Really nicely padded gloves, and they look great. The Velcro is very loud, but that’s to be expected since they’re still new. No one was able to answer my question if getting a larger size would increase the weight, so I just went ahead and ordered a large to find out. They’re still 12 oz, just presumably with more space inside. I’m glad, because even though I’m a woman there’s just exactly enough space in these for me. Excited to test them out.

Ringside is the best!

I have been using ringside gloves for over 20 years. I love the Velcro closure system, a brilliant departure from laces. I purchased these for the wife to train with. She loves them also. Buy them!

Great quality!

Don't be fooled by big named gloves in sports stores, in my opinion this gloves are much better and will last longer. Would definitely buy again.

fitness not true boxing gloves

My wife bought me these and they look good but preform bad. I got the biggest size which is large... i'm a guy and my wrist are fairly skinny. These gloves barely fit around the wrist. I have to barely strap them on , and I to started using them w/o hand wraps. Bad idea i know but w/ the imf foam these gloves have i don't think they'd break in after a year on intense bag work! I used them for 3 monthes 10 rounds 5x's a week and they NEVER broke in. I had to give them to my wife for her kick boxing class. I would recommend these for women.

Great boxing gloves for women

I bought these for a boxing class that I go to. They are reasonably priced and so far I’m happy with performance. Previous reviews state that they think these gloves fit small. They fit my hands great but I have small hands and wrists. Here’s some other details : -fit for me was good, adjustable Velcro to tighten around wrist, I can easily put on myself -the black colour is good as matches everything but the Ringside logo is a bit too big for my liking - really stands out maybe that’s something you would like though -these gloves have pretty good ventilation holes, helps to dry as it does get sweaty in there! -12oz gloves are a good weight I use these mostly on a heavy bag -no wear yet though I’ve only used 4x

Nice at first but didn't last

I used these 3h weekly x 6 months for heavy bag/target mitt punching. As a beginner with med-lg woman hands I didn't expect I'd be giving these a hard life but already, the fabric is starting to rip besides the external thumb seam. At the club I seem to be the only one with this problem and no one else bought these.

I went a size up because after reading previous reviews, the standard size was too small with hand wraps. The size up was WAY TOO BIG. Go to your gym and ask for their expertise before buying blankly online like I did.
