Very nice

This mount is very nice. I used a different plaque only because I already had one that my uncle made by hand. The plaque that comes with it is nice. I will say that cutting the holes is no so straight forward. I read the instructions like 5 times and then ended up just freestyling it and I made some mistakes. Was able to cover up the mistakes with the rope but just barely. Hot glue made the rope easy. Another custom thing I did was add the cartridge end punched into the bottom of the felt scull cap and into the plaque.

Rope is terrible quality, leather cap is also terrible

Poor instructions for cutting leather cap. The leather cap also is very low quality and marks easily. Same for the string, the string frets very easily once cut. The board is good though.

Nice material and product

The oak board has a nice finish. While the leather cap is very thick and hard to cut, it is made of nice material and looks presentable once finished. If you take your time cutting the cap when fitting your horns it will turn out nice. The gold wrap can be a pain to cut, wrap, and hold together. I would buy again.

It does the job, but leaves a gap

This mount kit was OK. There was a sizable gap between the skull cover and the plaque.

First Buck display

My 14 yr old grandson got his first buck, 8 pt so this was bought to European mount the skull and antlers. He's so proud of his take!

The woods nice but skull cap it terrible

Nice back board but the skull cap is miserable to work with just not nice material to cut with a knife but with some fighting I got a fair mount
