If you've got a big head - read me before buying!
I really wanted to give this mask 5 stars, but just can't. Here's why... I have a big head. I thought finding a hat was hard (you don't see too many 7 3/4 sized hats for sale and "one size fits all" hats don't even come close to fitting!). Then came a pandemic and everybody has to wear a mask! My dear mother made some masks for me at first. They were ok, but they were hot. As disposable masks started becoming available again, I tried some of them. I could barely get them around my ears and the straps often broke as they are only lightly glued on. Since it looks like we are going to be in this for a while, the cost of disposable masks is going to add up, making finding a washable and reusable mask a priority. So, I found the Safe+Mate x Case-Mate masks, offering an L/XL size, and decided to give it a try. The good? The fabric is very soft and comfortable, while still seeming to provide some protection from all that stuff that sprays out of your mouth (it also has a pouch for the included filter)! It also fits around my nose in a very comfortable and secure way without needing any sort of stiff strip many other masks need. The bad? The ear loops are just not big enough to comfortably reach around my ears. I tried it for a while and it just was too tight. I am able to use the mask with the comfort strip of elastic which runs around the back of your head, but it is still not very comfortable and makes you look to others like you aren't wearing the mask correctly. I may try to make some modifications to this mask to see if I can get it to fit. For now, I'll say if you can't wear a "one size fits all" hat, this mask isn't for you. As I said, otherwise I like this mask a lot. If the makers of this mask made an XXL size, I would be willing to give it a try.

Not For Someone Who Needs an XL Fit
The one thing that this mask has going for it is the fit. When a customer gets a size that's right for them, it'll definitely fit perfectly. As someone that needs a Large to Extra Large in terms of mask size, this mask wasn't for me. At best, I believe that this mask is in between a medium and large, maybe a large at best. It covers my nose, mouth, and chin almost perfectly and it's perfectly breathable, but it doesn't stretch enough for it to be comfortable for me. The back band is not big and/or stretch-y enough and actually causes a strain on my neck. The back band also doesn't come off, so I couldn't wear it with just the ear loops, which is a huge bummer. Speaking of the ear loops, they don't go completely around my ear and pulls on the top of my ears, which reiterates the lack of comfort of this mask. It does come with PM2.5 filter, which is always great, but for the people who care about the lighter test, it definitely doesn't pass; this isn't a medical-grade mask anyways, so most shouldn't expect something like that even if there are some cloth masks out there that provide it. Overall, I'd only recommend this mask for someone who has a smaller head or face, because I do believe that it can provide a perfect fit for almost anyone. However, I can't recommend this mask for someone that usually fits an Extra Large mask or some that usually fit a large; if a person can fit the large, it'll be a hit or miss. I think this mask needs an update, where the back band can actually come off for any size, and a separate listing for an actual XL fit.

First acceptable mask I’ve purchased!
I’m an educator and have been shopping around for masks that have the all-day wearing comfort needed in my setting. This mask is probably the first one that I can say is acceptable for all-day wear. It has the appropriate thickness, the option of filter inserts (2 were included in my order), and the elastic band on the back truly helps reduce the pressure on my ears from the earlopes. While the thickness is appropriate, I will say that my face did get a little warm after about an hour. It’s probably because of the filter inserts, but compared to other masks I was not so uncomfortable that I had to take it off and chance environmental exposures to SARS-COV-2/COVID-19. The fit is designed perfectly and covers all the necessary areas of my face without the frequent need to adjust the masks placement. Honestly, I don’t believe I had to make any adjustments during the first 3 hours of wear! Again, I’m going to order more and already recommended them to my colleagues!

"XL" size is not large enough to be comfortable
My main complaint with most masks is how sore my ears get wearing them. This mask has an elastic band that goes behind the head, but unless you use the ear loops, the mask will fall.

I actually bought both sizes based off reviews and having a smaller women's face, the L/XL would have been way too big for me. I tried the S/M sized one and it fits better. But I'm still not pleased with it. I knew it didn't have a nose piece to tighten, but didn't think that would be an issue. I can feel air coming through that area though. And the mask comes up to my bottom eyelids. It doesn't feel secure under my chin like it should. My biggest complaint is how it actually puts MORE tension on my ears than regular cheap ear masks. Due to the band around the back of my head slipping down too far, it pulls harder on the top of my ears, creating pressure. Maybe if I didn't wear my long hair down it would fit better, but I can't see how it wouldn't slip around on my hair. Basically disappointed again in a mask...darn pandemic.

Best mask ive had, elastic band design is my favorite!
I work in a chemical lab and have to wear safety glasses and a mask 100% of the time when im at work. I found that if i pull the mask up over my nose completely and set my glasses down over the mask on my nose, my glasses wont fog up. I also wear this mask when i go to the gym and it doesnt seem to bother me too bad. I got a size large and it fits me perfectly I see alot of people complaining and im not sure why. Im guessing the small is alot smaller than the large size. My only knock is that the ear straps are still too tight which is why i love the elastic band design behind my neck.

Good Mask
I see some reviews saying not for a man, incorrect. I'm 6' and 230 and it fits me just fine. (buy a bigger size) I believe I have an above avg sized cranium as well. Flexible and light, best form fit of the 4 masks I own, even the more expensive ones. I use filters (so no candle blow outs) hence the built in pocket. 1 piece strap makes it easy to just drop down and wear around the neck as well. Pocket built for chin inspired and saves the loose sides, like so many others have. Happy customer and the price is reasonable

Make sure you know what you're ordering
The mask so still too small for a large - still pulls my ears forward, when I breathe lots of air goes up the nose bridge to fog up my glasses. No metal nose clip to secure the mask to your face... Wanted to buy the 3 pack of large masks... Previously purchased the small/medium masks which pulled so much on my ears that it tore my one ear. I wanted the large 3 pack, thinking that's what I ordered - package arrived, but only 1 mask. You CANNOT return this product. I wanted to return to order the 3 pack and get the savings (1-$19/ 3-$30) So make sure if you're ordering a 1 or 3 pack that's what is stated on order.

Muy cómodo y excelente cobertura!
LO + (positivo): 1-La mascarilla está muy bien, su talla se adapta muy bien al rostro, se moldea perfecto en la nariz y la tela se percibe suave, muy cómodo. 2- El soporte de atrás resuelve la buena portabilidad sin manipularlo demasiado. 3- El que se puedan cambiar los filtros es una ventaja. LO - (negativo): 1-Por otro lado, el filtro solo abarca la parte de la boca por lo que en la nariz solo está la tela como protección, en ese sentido estaría mejor si el filtro fuera más grande. 2-No encontré filtros de repuesto para adultos solo hay talla niños (aunque los compré de todas maneras), pero sí son más pequeños, por lo que no es tan efectivo.

FINALLY a Extra Large Mask!
A mask that says its XL and is actually for an XL head! Like seriously as Amazon knows I've bought and returned at least 3 masks before this one. All claimed to be XL. All fit a tiny head. This mask actually works so if this masking wearing hysteria continues I will likely buy another to alternate. The fog only glasses isn't too bad either. Overall. I won't be returning this one.
