Bright light, strong magnet
This puts out a good amount of light for a small light. It has 2 settings and I would not call either dim. It is rechargeable, and there are 3 light indicators that let you know how much charge is remaining. It was easy to charge, but somehow the piece covering the charging port came off. The magnet is strong and the hook seems strong as well. I mostly use it in a darker area of the garage and keep it attached to the metal cabinet. I like that I can rotate it when using the hook to light up different areas. I rarely open the hood of my car, but I can certainly see how it would be great to attach to the inside of the hood and light up the engine compartment. I’m sure I will find more uses for it in the future, but for now I’m happy that the dark corner of the garage has good light when needed.

Perfect gift
My sister ended up wanting this for her bf, so I gave it to her to give to him . He absolutely loved it and used it !

Solid work light except for charging port cover
Not a bad little work light overall. The light is bright enough to be useful but isn't a super high-brightness, high color temp light that dazzles the eye. The magnetic base is great. I stuck it to my storage unit steel wall, and it illuminated my entire 5x10 unit just fine. Without moving the base, the light can be oriented to point anywhere and stays where you leave it. It has a hook, but the light beam can only point sideways if the work light is hanging from it. The hook wouldn't be very useful under a hood, but assuming you're hood is metal, the magnetic base is probably all you need anyway. The only real negative to this product is the material the charging power cover is made from is not sturdy. The tab ripped right off when I tried to pop the cover loose (see photo). I was able to get the cover of with my fingernail, but the hinge flap of the cover gave way immediately. It seems like the material the cover was made out of wasn't 100% cured. Hopefully future models will have this particular defect dealt with. Overall, I like the light, but if you get one, make sure to check the charging port cover to ensure it's solid.

A handy worklight for a wide variety of purposes.
This is a relatively small but very adaptable work light that can be used for a variety of work and personal purposes. I have not yet had it long enough to give a view as to the rechargeable battery or the durability of the bulb and its housing. It seems well made, with one exception. There is an attached rubber shield over the charging c port. When I carefully sought to raise the shield, in order to charge the device, the rubber shield broke off. That is why I have given this light four stars, rather than five. The shield is depicted in one of the promotional photos. In all other respects, I found the device to function as claimed. Very good, two- level lighting, the base pivots and rotates, so that it can be stood and aimed; the magnetic bottom holds the light to an iron or steel surface; a hanger is present to permit the light to be hung. This light is a keeper for me. If I find that the battery does not meet up to the promotional claims or that the device otherwise breaks down, I will amend this review.

A lil pricey in my opinion
I love lights......any and all kinds. I don't see as well as I used to so they have become a necessity for me. This one advertised closest to natural light. No clue how to know how accurate that is but it is a good light to have. It lasts quite a while on a charge. I especially appreciate lights that can be charged vs replacing batteries. I was constantly buying batteries and as we all know, they aren't cheap nor do they last long. I do think the price for it tho is a bit much. Just my opinion......

Bright
It is a wonderful flashlight, and came with a partial charge. I love the 3 green lights on the back to let me know my charging status. However when I went to charge it the tab on the cover you pull up on broke off, didn't seem like a big deal, however when pulling the remainder of the cover up so I could plug it in, the hinge to keep cover on the unit broke off also. Now you can still put it back on to keep moisture from entering the charging connection you just have to remember where you put it. It took several hours to complete the charge instructions say 6 hrs so seems correct. The magnet on it is strong so moving bottom section to get the correct angle you need is wonderful. The hook to hang it does the trick and your able to swivel the unit to shine in the direction you need. Over all very nice flashlight.

Schumacher SL943 Volor Match - Good Angles
The media could not be loaded. I like this light. It has a hook that swivels so you can hang it from different places to free a hand while getting light where you need it. You can also stand it up on a flat surface if needed. It looks like it has two light modes, one being brighter than the other. The flashlight itself you can tell is made from quality materials. At least most of it. The large circular silver piece that screws holding the lens together on the front feels like some sort of cheap plastic with chrome spray paint on it. Almost like it doesn't belong with the rest of the light. The price seems to be a little bit more than I would have put it at for this light. I collect flashlights and besides the utility the actual light produced doesn't match the price for me. I would say it's closer to a $30-$35 light (my opinion). Overall it is still great and will get plenty of use because of the utility. I took a star off because of the plastic piece and price. Everything else is excellent.

Versatile
It's a nice light, but I wouldn't pay $50 for it. I've gotten similar lights from Costco for far less. If you have no other source, then get this. It's solidly built with nice finishes and I'm happy to have it. It is nice that it's rechargeable, but they didn't use a USB-C port. Outdated already.
