Not for delicate fabric

I will not repurchase this item even though I want more shelf dividers, which is why I give it only 3 stars. These dividers look very nice. The metal is sturdy, and it seems like the dividers will stay in place without any issues on my wood shelves. There is a very slight abrasiveness where the metal was formed in some areas, so I would not personally use this for any fabrics that could potentially snag on it. I ordered the dividers with the intention of using them in my master closet, however because of the risk of snags, I am using it in a storage closet. I will stick to acrylic for my clothing in the future.

I found the shelf mount to be a bit large for my shelf but I was able to shim them up with some cardboard and they work fine. They are working well in my armoire and are well-enough made so they definitely deserve four stars, but I'm not 100% over the moon about them. For instance, even with the shims they are prone to wobbling a bit (relative to the vertical axis if you push them from the side). This doesn't affect their function much as a closet organizer, and their sleek and narrow shape will make them easy to store and transport when next I move. The metal is quite sturdy, but given the wobble I wish they were a bit cheaper.

Great design. Make sure to measure!

These have worked great for my bathroom cabinets, to keep my towels and hand towels/wash cloths separated, while allowing me to stack them higher. I wasn't sure how they would work out, but they are a breeze to put in place. The bottom of the divider has a long bar incorporated into the unit, so that you slide the bottom bar of the unit round a wooden shelf and then push up (or pull down) on the bottom bar, in order to create as tight of a fit as you need. I didn't measure (rare for me to not do that), and they were larger than I expected --- which turned out to be great for me, since they fit exactly how I needed. :)

Wish I had found these years ago!

These are great! I saw some that were triple this price and couldn’t bring myself to pay that when I saw these so cheap. They were an add on item which I usually don’t do, but I’m glad I did. My main concern was my shelves are old and I thought these wouldn’t fit. The bottoms/bars were very firm and grasped onto my shelves holding them in place perfect. They don’t fall over. The spaces are kinda large in the design, but I use them to hold sweatshirts in place on my top closet shelf so the larger design isn’t an issue. I would def but again!

The best linen closet solution I've tried yet!

I've tried some different kinds of these dividers in hopes of taming my linen closet and while none of them are perfect, these are the best I've tried so far! They're very well made and sturdy. I like how the bottoms are rubberized to grip the wood shelves. I started with a pack of 2 to try them out with towels and sheet sets and I think I'll get more! I did NOT receive this item free or at a discount

These are working perfectly on my book shelf to keep ...

These are working perfectly on my book shelf to keep text books from falling down every time I remove one (which I'm doing all day as I pull different books for grading assignments). You'll need 12+ inches of clearance on each shelf in order to fit these. I'm using them on a wood laminate book shelf with 3/4 inch thick shelves and this seems to be an ideal thickness. They're snug enough that they don't move without serious effort, but we're still super easy to fit on.

who knew there was so much space on the shelf?

I bought 2 for my front hallway closet where I keep all of my bags, totes, and purses. No matter how I tried to organize them before, they were always falling over, the straps would get tangled, and instead of pulling out one bag, I'd end up with 3 or 4 falling on my head. With these dividers, I can stand the bags up straight, so that part of my shelf looks nice and neat. The bonus is that having the bags upright frees up a lot of wasted space on the shelf. I'm about to order several more of these dividers and can't wait to get the whole shelf organized. I'm looking forward to being able to open the closet to hang guests' coats without worrying about bags falling everywhere.

The two fit like a dream

I purchased 5 sets of these. Two were shipped from one place and three from another. The two fit like a dream. They are well constructed and heavier than I expected based on the price so I was quite pleased. The other three didn't fit on any shelf in my house. They were made so that the shelf would not fit to the end of the divider as it shows in the photo. So I like these but there is obviously no quality control on them (what do you want when they come from China?). At the price it might be work taking a chance but just know that you may have to send them back.
