Replaced a Broken Glass Butter Dish

So very pleased to find this unbreakable butter dish. Having experienced two broken glass butter dishes (what can I say - I am clumsy at times), I needed to finally find a plastic butter dish - one that I could see through. After several trips to various department stores, finally decided to find one on Amazon - and this was it. Not expensive - cleans quickly and I don’t have to take the top off to see how much butter is left. Great deal - and looks good on the counter.

this is a replacement for the same product that we’ve had for many years, of the same color. which was a replacement for the older cream color one! the lid stays on, it’s dishwasher safe, and it works great!

Smarter way to keep butter

Most butter keepers have a lid that just sits on a dish. That's great if you're setting it on your table, but butter keeps much longer in the fridge. This keeper is basically a piece of tupperware shaped to house a stick of butter. I've had one like this for years but the base got cracked. I was happy to find another one! I am only giving four stars, however, because the lid with the new one is a little loose. It's still tight enough to keep the butter sealed away from the air in the fridge, but I wouldn't suggest picking it up by the lid. Fortunately, my old lid fits it perfectly.

Can fit side door of the fridge.

Liked it. You can put 100 gram of amul butter but for that you have to cut the butter from side. The dish can be locked but can be open easily anytime. Better not to hold the butter dish from upside as it can open with the weight of butter , hold it from downside red base.

Rubbermaid durable Butter dish

Was a joke could not even fit a 100 gms butter in it and hopefully retained it so if there is a granddaughter will gift it to her tea set so she can play with it. Had sent in my displeasure on the item

Great Value

The red was the exact color I wanted. It's durable and the lid fits well. The size is perfect for a stick of butter. Cleans well in the dishwasher. Great value!
