This is my second solar panel of this brand and model. I just love it!!! I have one more to buy for another trail cam and I’ll be set!

Not water resistant.

its a nice little unit but, Not designed to be water resistant at all. I took mine apart when it came in because i bought it more or less to upgrade the battery to run a cell camera and when i opened it up there is no seal around the edge and just a few o rings around the 4 mount holes. Strategic mounting is needed to keep it dry. I didnt open the panel portion but I suspect its much of the same.

Some work better than others

As mentioned in the headline - I have 3 of these solar panels for my game cameras. 1 out of 3 stay charged by the sun consistently. The other two need constant attention. Will not charge completely. Even when I clean the panel the unit still doesn't reliable charge. The one that I have that works flawlessly kept the review from being a 2 star review. If I didn't have to mess with the other two all the time this product would be better. Overall happy with the purchase. The Warranty and Support department for STEALTH makes up for it.

Great with my MuddyCam. Batteries are spendy (9 AA), and cameras not always accessible here in MN. Solar panel? Problem solved

Works great! Kept my trail cam working in all weather.

I like using this, I don't have to buy batteries! Once fully charged, it stayed over 85% even when cloudy all day. I love it! I have not tried it in the middle of the woods, but will do that soon to see how good it catches sunlight in the trees.

Battery fully charged only lasts 12 hours.

I bought this to power a camera at the gate 200' away; running power to it is cumbersome. I was pleasantly surprised that it powered up the camera and worked fine for a while. It was a reasonably sunny day in south Texas. Then the evening came and no power. It is an amazing product if the manufacturer can improve on the battery. If they could do that I will buy several. I ended up sending it back and and ran a powerline to the camera.

I bought in the spring, and didn’t open the package until fall when I needed it. Didn’t turn on.
