Cooks great !

So far this little broiler oven has been great. It is hard to read a bit with lower lighting. Space saver. It did smoke once when I used the higher tray level (closer to top broiler) but no big deal as I am always watching it during cooking and positioned it to the lower level right away which corrected that. Would recommend!

dial information is hard to read

The product works well. However the dial indicators for things like toast or bagels is almost impossible to read in normal kitchen light. I did 4 slices of toast and each one came out different degrees of toasted. Everything from dark on the top of the slice and light on the bottom on the same side. 2 slices works fine.

Toasts good

I bought this toaster oven to toast bread. The temperature setting for toast is 450 degrees. Don't try to put the pointer on the word "Toast" because the dial won't go past 450. It does the job quickly; however, as with older toaster ovens, turn the timer knob past the 5 or 10 minute mark before going back to the desired shade of toast. Select a place almost to the darkest shade indicator to get a nice golden color. The owner's manual is misleading about the crumb tray. It implies by the picture in the manual that it is separate in the box like the baking tray and baking pan, and that the consumer puts it in the toaster oven when setting it up to use. That is why a reviewer said their oven did not come with a crumb tray. The crumb tray on my toaster oven apparently was not the last part installed at the factory. There was no way to pull out the crumb tray with your hands. My husband had to use a screwdriver to loosen it on the inside of the oven, then use pliers to pull it out from the front of the toaster oven.

nice size toaster oven

this is a great small footprint toaster oven does well with toast and popcorn shrimp ,,cheese rolls etc,,,my only complaint is the letters next to setting dials ,,,it is small and not brightly colored ,,,i wear glasses with heavy perscriptions and it is very hard to read,,,but it works well,,like the fact that it has little hinges that pull out shelf as door opens ,,nice feature....overall would recommend

Crumb tray was stuck & inside wouldn't hold the smallest toaster oven pans available. Returned.

I read other reviews about the crumb tray being stuck. Mine was too. Nothing would dislodge it. I read that other people unscrewed parts and re-assembled them, but I don't trust myself to do that. Shame, because this was the only small toaster oven that didn't have some reports of fires and shattered glass doors. Also, I bought accessory pans which should have fit, but the interior too small. Almost like a child's toy. I wish it has worked for me since it seemed to be the safest one (or maybe too new to have negative reports yet).

Nice toaster oven, but.....

Bought this to replace an old Hamilton Beach that kept failing, the top burners stopped working a couple months ago, and the unit didn't always turn on. This is a little smaller but serves the purpose. I agree with those users who say the settings are hard to read. The crumb tray was stuck, just opened the door pushed down on the tray and pulled it out. No issues with it after that. Toasting is a little tricky in this unit, the book isn't very clear on which to use, top slot or the bottom slot. Using the bottom slot ends up burning one side if not careful, using the top does not toast evenly, still testing for right settings. This is used only for reheating and toasting so I'm not sure how cooking or baking will turn out. ****To the manufacturer: Do something about the color of the settings, the dial settings are almost the same color as the background, it should be changed to bright white, this would increase the number of favorable ratings.

Easy to use and heats just fine

The settings on the dials are easy to use. It cooks as you would expect it to. The bottom catch plate slides out easily by pressing down on the middle lightly at the front and pushing outward. We are quite satisfied with the toaster oven overall.

Silver Numbers printed on stainless steel

Though it looks black online, the front panel is actually silver. This has the negative effects of not matching my kitchen AND making the lettering which is essential for setting the dials illegible. Using a light just causes glare. I’m guessing they originally designed this front panel to have a black stainless finish. It does not.
