Much sturdier than that over sized rubber bands that only lasted 8-10 years. (I'm hoping these outlive me :-)

Ok but not great...

I got these because I've been having trouble finding the Swix style ones with the orange hooks and rubber ends. These work but they are far more labor intensive. Because of the design with the knot of the elastic bungee inside the loop, there isn't much room for the ski brakes to get in there. Also the thickness of the ring makes it hard to pass the brake and retainer ring past the ski if your brakes are tight. If you are like me, that's a big deal because I often use the retainer to help depress the brake out of the way when I set them up for waxing. These do function, but I prefer the other style.

Not for all bindings

Do not work for junior and some adult bindings... way too loose and require extra rigging to actually be able to depress the brake fully. If they were tighter, could work well but as is, useless for our family. Returning :(

Hard to use

It barely works on my skis. I have to rely on the rubber loop to introduce enough friction with my board to keep my brakes marginally below the ski's base for waxing. The bungee rope part is a bit too long causing the brakes to remain in the way of skiing. Need to fiddle with the rubble loop, tying extra knot on the rope part or put in a spacer to make it work.

They work. Enough said.

I suppose the alternative rubber bands are cheaper but I liked this product better. Might las longer than the rubber bans, only time will tell.
