Worked for my Danby Kegerator

I bought this thinking it was possible to add to my Danby Kegerator and rid myself of the trouble of finding C02 refills and it would be a safe alternative. Turns out it works perfect. I had to detach the pump end of the hose and then I used pliers on the clamp just enough to feed it through the back of my Danby and then pliers to reshape the metal clamp. Then I used the new coupler and attached my old tap. I also put tape around the hose where it feeds through the back because the hose is slightly smaller. Pours even better than with C02. I wish I had learned sooner. I have a 5lb and a 20lb tank to get rid of now that this works. If for some reason it stops working I will update this review. Beats dragging heavy tanks and avoids the real headache or even death that can occur with a C02 leak. One other thing that may or may not matter is that I replaced the tower on my danby with a peerless SS single pour. It pours way better than the original dual tap. P.S. I’ve never been compensated for a review and will not ever.

Excellent value

No more CO2 tank refills. I took the CO2 tank tube and connect directly to the foot pump for my kegerator. The tube size is slighter larger than the foot pump output barbed connector. Suggest to match the standard size connector for even easier CO2 tank replacement. For new keg, only pump a few times is enough to get goof flow going. As the keg running lower, a few more pumps are needed to have the same consistent flow.

my be assembled incorrectly

Solid pump, good quality tubing. I like that this tap has a blow off valve. The tap came out of the box with the hoses on the wrong ends. It would not pump beer. After reversing the hoses it worked great. Be aware that this pump may be assembled wrong when you recieve it. If you are apt enough to make the changes needed to have it work properly then you will enjoy this pump. FYI The pour nozzle belongs on the top of the tap and the pump tube goes into the side.

This pump works awesome, one foot pump is typically all that's needed to make the beer flow. This is a must have to the cheap hand pump they give you at the retailer when you buy the keg. Plus now you can cover the whole keg with ice, cover it and make ice last longer.

Best Tap ever

Bought several of these for catering, they are so much nicer than a hand pump! Flawless performance, doesn’t take much pumping to keep it flowing well.

Did not work correctly

Did not hold pressure in keg at all. Had to pump each time to dispense beer. Processed return to Amazon and they never picked up the product. Not good experience at all on this product.

Good unit but assembled wrong

Weak threads ar the pump and foot pedal.

I relied on this pump to pour a keg at my wedding party and it left us stranded with a wasted keg. 1 of the pumps had broken in the first hour. And the other pump stripped its nut/threads rendering useless. Garbage. Dont rely on a cheap pump.
