Love this light for camping

This is an outstanding light for camping. You can use as a regular flashlight, or stand it up and use as a lantern, or hang it. Easily rechargeable. Really versatile and have purchased multiple times. It is the right brightness for camping and dimmable as well. Highly recommend.

This is my third UCO lantern ( first two were gifts )

I hope that the battery life will be as good as on the first two UCO lenterns. So I put five stars up front. The only thing I don’t like, that you cannon recharge my iPhone 8+ from this lentern ( unless you’ll buy some kind of a adapter).

difficult to dim

I bought this because I wanted a rechargeable version of the UCO Clarus lamp/lantern that I own. I was disappointed with this light because it's hard to switch between modes. With the Clarus, you half press the button to switch between high/medium/low/strobe: two taps and your at the dimmest. With this one, you have to press and hold the button and wait for it to dim. It starts on the brightest setting and takes about five seconds to get to the dimmest. It wouldn't be so bad if it remembered the brightness from the last time you used it, but each time you turn it on again it starts on the brightest setting. So the lantern is pretty good, but the user interface is lacking.

It was a gift for a friend but I’ve had one for a few years and really love it. I wouldn’t use it to charge a phone except in some far-fetched emergency, but as a flashlight/lantern for walks it is great. I love not buying and tossing batteries!
