Did not fit my Char-Broil Model 463666507

The tubes were too large to fit through the openings on my grill. Construction of the tube end caps was also poor on both sides.

Fits my older Char Broil grill

This is a good replacement burner for my 20 year old Char Broil grill. The burner is adjustable in length.

Actually Three and a half stars...

The universal bar burner operates well. My issue with it was that the requisite screws weren't all included in the package. I was able to take screws from the burner I was replacing to assemble the new burner. Also, the two slide pieces that go on each end of the burner don't exactly slide. One was fine (apply some vaseline petroleum jelly to the bar to make the sliding easier). The other side was on so tight, I had to use a wedge and hammer to get it to move so I could get it off to adjust it. The slider pieces seem to be a "Hope it fits" design. Once this issue was solved, I was able to assemble the burner and install it. It works perfectly. I didn't really want to give this four stars because of the issues described above, but I thought three stars was too low. The burner you order may not have these issues... I was just (un)lucky enough to get the one that didn't quite fit together.

Works well

I cut this in half with my grinder and used it for my small grill after not being able to find a burner. It works great, and I have a spare burner for the next time I need one!

Cheap

Was looking for a low-cost fix to get a grill back in use that won't be needed much longer. This one was cheap in both senses of the word. The flame is very uneven between the middle and ends of the burner. While the burner itself appears to be made of stainless, the provided hardware was not so I don't expect this to last very long - fortunately I don't need it to.

Perfect Fit!

I have a thirty-year old (possibly older) Charbroil BBQ whose burners had finally succumbed to corrosion. I doubted that I would find the correct replacement for such an obsolete appliance, but this item looked as though it might do the job with a bit of butchering. To my absolute amazement and great delight, it fitted perfectly, straight out of the box! Well done to Charbroil for continuing to support old models, and well done to the Amazon trader for stocking it.

Good quality product

Easy enough to assemble and fit to the barbeque. Works perfectly well and is much cheaper than replacing the whole thing.

Works after adjustments

The pre-drilled holes don't line up super well and the screws don't fit. Once the sizing had been decided I had to drill the holes a smidge larger to get the screws in.
