It’s worth it but expect not to get it right the first couple of times

This is one of our new favorite appliances. Couple Comments. Easy to clean- it’s not too bad Easy to use- not really. The settings are only a timer and slow and fast ( no temperature ) and the instructions don’t give you any specifics really on how to cook it just how to use it - we massively undercooked our first chicken and first set of kebobs. I will tell you to make chicken kebobs w or without veggies and cook on slow for 40-50 min then follow it on fast for a higher heat for 10-15 min. The fast setting helps to give it that char we love. We have made one rotisserie chicken successfully- use cooking twine for the limbs and a temperature fork until done. Otherwise as it cooks the chicken will open the door for you. Do it on slow and when nearly done, if not already a little charred, use fast until it is. The flavor when you get it right is worth the first struggles. We love it. Marinated in shawarma is a fav. We have done Italian and greek too. It definitely gets hot so don’t have it under your cabinets or get ready to peel off your paint ( yes I know for sure ). Hope this helps Someone else. Enjoy!

This item changed my world!

I know people say that "changed my world" thing a lot, but I don't. This rotisserie has been amazing, and I've cooked everything from chicken to beef ribs, pork roasts and ribs, ham, kebabs, fruit, veggies. It's all come out incredibly tasty, crisp outside, juicy and tender inside. Only suggestion would be to make it a little easier to clean. But that small annoyance is 100% worth it. I love this rotisserie!

Inaccurate description

I love the item but its not easy to clean like what the description said. Its hard to remove those burn in the plate and i had to spend 20minutes to remove it..

Vertical Rotating Oven Review

When this oven reached us, I gave it to my wife as part of a 30th Wedding Anniversary. She couldn't wait to cook her first whole chicken. The meal came out great and my wife is very happy because she picked it out in the first place.

No cooking directions!

I purchased this to replace a old one that stopped working. I finally got the time to use it. Was disappointed that there is no recipes included! I wanted to cook a whole chicken but had to go to Internet to try and find a recipe. I Cooked the chicken for 2 hours on slow, but half chicken cooked and other half not! Going to give it another try and cook longer! Hopefully it cooks the whole chicken next time! If you’ve never used a rotisserie before be prepared to find a recipe!

Understand what you are buyting

I bought this without reading the entire description but I will be using it again and again. I did some shwarma and it turned out great but clean up was a bit cumbersome. Also, I wish it had a temperature control instead of just one level. Like I said, I am keeping it and will use it regularly but wanted to point out the small things I would change,

Worked perfect!

There is a discrepancy on the "fast and slow" switch, it changes the Heat setting, (not the speed). Once I found that out, all was well. I cooked a 6lb chicken in 2 1/2 hours on the "Slow" setting, cooler heat so I didn't scorch the wings or legs. This was the first time using it and I'm sure I'll come up with more dishes. I've never used a rotisserie before, It worked as advertised, once food is in the cooker, shut the door, turn it on and walk away! *NOTE* top of machine gets hot so keep out of reach with little children. Our first try turned out real well with some basic seasonings. *Also note*, "leave door closed" after it shuts off for a few minutes, the heating coils are still hot and may effect the glass. I read reviews where peoples glass broke, I'm a retired engineer and direct excessive heat can cause that. Other than that, enjoy it, It works Great!

It works it does the job but it's not very good at it

Every time I cook a chicken I have to set the timer twice. High low doesn't work and with a timer off to 60 min you need to set it twice. The glass shield is somewhat hard to clean But it does work makes really good rotisserie chicken

An amazing cooking investment. Just not complete.

I love this product. The only problem I have was the box did not include all that was suppose to be in it. There was 2 thumb screws missing that hold the spike skewers to the chicken on the spit. Also there was no warranty card in box. On the other hand this machine works amazing and I would happily reccomend it to anyone who likes donairs or chicken swarms. To beef or chicken fajitas. Even grease free rotisserie chicken. It is amazing. I would not send it back because of thumb screws but I would love to have them replaced.

Cooks and works great, easy to clean

First of all very easy to clean and put together and away. Cooks everything well and makes the whole house smell nice. Great for parties or if you are just too lazy too cook However make sure you have a lot of space for it as it gets very very hot (could even work as a space heater) and will melt paint on nearby coubtertops
