The Ultimate Travel Bag

This pelican bag is very useful on those long walks when the weather gets bad. I travel back and forth to work and to my nearby farmer's market on foot. Rainy weather can really come down so this bag will come in handy to prevent all items from getting wet. I normally keep my phone and keys In my pocket which has electronic parts on them and transfer them to bag if needed. When I get home the items will be warm and dry. Cleaning the bag is simple just wipe it down with your favorite wipes or wet towel and spray your favorite fragrance if needed. The bag is spacious depending in the size you get. I set mine with tactical molle pouches in different color to organize each item I use for books, electronics, etc. Pelican products are worth the price/this is an amazing product.

Tough, dry, durable, and comfortable! What more do you need?

Excellent bag. I took it on a seven mile hike with about 40lbs of gear in it, and it was comfortable. I like the fact that you can see the contents in the bottom half of the bag from the outside. I have taking it kayaking and it stayed dry, however it was not submerged. Only reason it’s not five stars is because I haven’t had it long enough to speak to the durability but so far it has held up nicely. Would highly recommend! This review is on the 30 Liter bag.

BEST IVE OWNED

The media could not be loaded. So I use dry bags and waterproof bags for a variety of reasons. So far none have ever been an issue. I jumped into a river and continued to swim for another 30 min with this bag. NOT a single drop of water inside when I opened it. Mind you, I had all my valuables (phone, wallet, extra clothes, etc.) Hands down, A GREAT BAG FOR THE VALUE.

Pelican Quality

Best dry bag I’ve ever owned. Plenty of space for a large beach towel, 2 bottles of water and 2 dry shirts. It’s also comfortable enough for a weekend hike, the adjustable shoulder straps make it easy to sling and carry for an extended period of time. Outer loops are great for the dogs water bowl when attached with a carabiner. Pelican quality, this bag is worth double the cost easy. Placed it on the front of my paddle board and everything stayed dry over 3 hours of being on the water, even my phone inside the zipper pocket.

Great quality, made for a smaller framed person.

The seams and “welds” of the bag are above average. But if you’re a larger frame or wide shouldered. This will be small fitting.

TORE APART IN 1 MONTH

The bottom of the bag peel of and it is unusable. It broke in 1 month of light use in beach

Not for the cold

The bag cracked and shattered like a cheap plastic. Temperature was around 5*C (41*F) and the only contents were a wetsuit, boots, and mitts. Would not recommend this bag for anybody who intends to use it in any cooler weather, maybe try rubberized canvas instead instead of PVC. 2 stars because it worked very well until the material failed.

Very bad clips

Broken clip: One trip and a shoulder strap's clip is already broken due to low quality. The loop of the bag is of good size and sturdy, but clips are obviously too small and flimzy, so they are tight to clip and hard to unclip therefore put ridiculous pressure in the undersized plastic retaining part. I suspect that cost was saved by using lower quality clips.... which don't cost much at all Therefore, I require the seller to ship me 2 of the appropriate shoulder straps. This is a PELICAN bag, not some generic brand and I expect value out of it like most of their great products. Otherwhise, bag is ok, translucid lower part is a great idea and quite useful, but the small pocket is definitely waterproof. Not at all

Dang good bag.

For the price you are paying, you couldn’t possibly get any better than this bag. Took this bag into the bush on a camping trip, fell out of the canoe, lost my phone, my wallet, and my hat...oof. Catching up with the bag after it conveniently floated down stream, i found everything inside to be safe and dry as a bone. Good bag. Would buy again. Great value. Could be a tad more comfortable if i wanted to be a wiener about it.

Great bag!

Love this bag. As mentioned it is water resistant, not fully water proof if you get it submerged underwater but for day to day or even heavy rain it won't get any water in. When I did go in the water with it on my back and it actually kept me afloat and there was minimal water inside even though it got submerged in a little. I've gotten compliments on it too and the straps are quite comfy. A great regular day bag too. I use it often.
