Simply Perfect

I prefer a dish cloth to a sponge and this is exactly what I needed to hang up the cloth to dry between uses. I also hang my stainless steel chain mail (used for cleaning cast iron pans) on one of the hooks provided. **Note: if you intend to use the hooks, look carefully inside the cardstock packaging or you might accidentally throw them away.

GREAT for dish rags, not meant for hand towels!

I bought this to dry used dishrags (approx 10” x 10”) before I put them into the laundry basket. It is working great so far - I don’t need it to be too sturdy because I’m not pulling towels on and off of it frequently. I see several of the reviews saying it is not tall enough for hand towels - it’s not meant to be a hand towel holder. If you need a hand towel stand, buy that, but if you want to hang dishrags to dry, you should get this!

Lightweight is not a quality here

The idea is great but it’s so light that when you pull the towel, the hanger comes along! You have to handle it slowly. But mother of two young children… always in a hurry. Even though about sticking it to the countertop somehow. Though I liked the product, being lightweight is not a good thing here. They should rethink the product adding some base or more weight.

Works ok

It’s not quite tall enough for a standard US dish towel unless you fold it twice. Not the sturdiest when drying your hands. Looks pretty cool.

I didn't realize how much I would love this

Such an elegant solution! We have a community kitchen where we have washcloths, all kinds of scrubby things, theThe Ringer - The Original Stainless Steel Cast Iron Cleaner, Patented XL 8x6 inch Design for our cast iron pans - all that we want to dry out between uses. I was desperate to have a place to hang this menagerie, so had picked up theNorpro Pasta Drying Rack . Thought this unfinished wood pasta rack promptly began to mildew/mold underneath the wet things (in hindsight I could have oiled it I suppose), took up HUGE amounts of precious counter space, some of the dowels broke, and water kept gathering underneath the wood base. Not great. Then, I ran across this Yamazaki dishcloth hanger. I thought it was expensive at first, but now I think it was worth every bit. We can hang all that we need on here, and even the Ringer will stay on well enough, (though sometimes we use a clothespin to anchor it when it seems extra slippery metal on metal). No rust, no fuss, easy to wipe up underneath and tidily sits at the back of the counter out of the way. It's not tall enough for a dish towel unless you fold the towel at least twice, but it's the perfect height for washcloths and scrubbies. It gave us our counter back in an ingeniously tidy way!

For hanging those things you don’t know what to do with

I set this up over a silicone drip tray at the back of the sink to keep standing water off the granite. I hang the scrubber, the skoy, a cotton paper towel replacement (yes, that’s a thing), and there is also room for a large dish cloth for drying dishes. The rack is very well integrated into my kitchen design, and I love it. Nothing is dangling from my stove or dishwasher handles, it’s all neatly arranged on this rack. Yamazaki does it again!

Perfect addition to my shower

I have been looking for a solution for hanging my washcloth in my shower. This rack is perfect. I much prefer this to the over the door hooks. Also, I like the little hooks that allow you to hang other items like my loofah sponge. It is functional and looks good.

Dishcloth Rack Used as Placemat Holder

This rack is a quality product and would be great as a dishcloth rack if that is what it is being purchased for. It also comes with two hooks to hang a couple of additional kitchen utensils. However, I use the rack to hold 20 plastic placemats, and it's the perfect size. We have a beautiful wood kitchen table and always use the plastic placemats for all meals. So, I wanted them available / close at hand. I had looked high and low for a placemat holder, but could not find anything. This rack is the perfect size. It's simple, and it will hold at least 20 placemats. Because it has three bars, including the center bar, it holds the placemats straight, and they are easy to remove.

Meh. Not up to Yamazaki standards.

Overall, quite unimpressed with this. I find the metal to be quite thin and flimsy. Also, if it’s for space saving, it actually eats up quite a bit of counter space. So not ideal there. For the price, it’s really not worth it. Not up to the typical standard I expect from Yamazaki.

Not suitable for drying tea towels

This is a washing-up cloth hanger, not a teatowel hanger and the word 'towel' in my view should not be in the description. At best it offers a temporary place to dump the teatowel in a heap while you're drying up so you don't have to place it on the bench. If you actually want to leave the teatowel to dry however, it will either be puddled on the bench or you'll have to fold it in half, which means it won't dry. The item looks elegant enough on its own, but once it has too-big teatowels on it, it just looks silly. Only buy if you're after a place to put your washing-up cloths rather than teatowels.

Very versatile

This rack is very versatile and good for drying all sorts of cleaning cloths so that they don't remain wet in a cupboard.
