The navy is so dark that it looks black. The socks are great otherwise.

The socks are great but the color was supposed to be navy and it is so dark that it appears black.

Nice socks, don't fit well.

So what i mean is the material is very soft and comfortable, but usually when you purchase dress socks you want them to fit hight above your calf so they do not fall down during a business meeting, these will fall down and you will spend the day pulling them up, if the company would make them about 6 inches longer at the calf I would have given these guys a 5 star, but cannot due to the inconvenience of having to constantly pull up.

Meh...

Gold Toe is a brand that I grew up wearing. My father introduced this brand to me. Typically, quality socks. Today's rating is based on the elastic not performing well. I had to readjust the socks several times. I probably won't wear these socks again. Unfortunately, I am going to find an alternative company that actually stays up.

Not Sure What to Say

I have been buying "Gold Toe" socks for years and I felt you got the quality you paid for, which is why I keep buying them. This time I was a bit surprised. 2 of the 3 pairs were fine but one pair (the solid brown) shrunk and were noticeably smaller after the first washing. They still fit but because they shrunk they tend to pull down. I have never had this happen before, so it is hard to say if this is some type of fluke or a systemic problem. The other two have been washed multiple times and are fine. This is why they got only 4 stars.
